The shipping and receiving clerk is responsible for verifying all incoming and outgoing shipments, preparing items for shipment and stocking the warehouse.

Some of your day to day activities include:

Counts, weighs or measures items in all shipments to verify the bill of lading, invoice, order or other records.

Determine best method of shipment

Will record and damages or shortages

When we receive packages, will stock the warehouse or get the part sent out to the correct location

You will maintain inventory of all shipping materials and physical inventory needed for customers and for the other departments.

You will use your strong computer skills daily.

The shipping and receiving clerk does need to have a valid driver license with a good driving record.

You will operate the forklift, tier-lift or hand truck daily. Responsible for daily maintenance of the forklift.
