**POSITION SUMMARY:**

This position is responsible for the movement of inventory throughout the plant. Working with multiple departments to resolve any variances within inventory, ensuring that all work orders and transactions are accurate this will help drive accurate financial number. This position will oversee creation, execution, and reporting of physical inventory.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

* Will oversee preparing, executing, and reporting Physical Inventory

* Maintain cycle count program throughout the plant at a 95% or better accuracy

* Report on a cycle count accuracy to department supervisor/leads once done counting their areas and work together to come up with better way to make inventory more accurate

* Report accuracy to department mangers/directors on a month basis to inform them on how accurate their areas are.

* Will create monthly shrink reports and product flow reports

* Work as a team to close and cost all work orders throughout the plant

* Solve problems with variances in material and ingredients

* Make sure our WIP and FG are getting tagged correctly

* Develop new process for WO such as new building, new operations, etc...

* Work with Production teams to resolve variances in work orders/ inventory

* Look into duplicate bins and work with team members on correct the bins

* Work with marketing/sales/production department on created new Product codes

* Create/update BOMs and Routing for product codes

* Maintain and ensure all safety standards, policies and practices are followed by Nichols Farms

* Will train fellow employees and observe and monitor work order or task.

* Knows and follows procedures and plant programs such as GMPs,

* Perform other duties as assigned.

**POSITION REQUIREMENTS:**

* Preferably have experience with Sage/ ERP system

* Ideal candidate will have previous experience in physical inventory/ cycle counting

* Forklift certified (standup and sit-down lifts)

* Bilingual in Spanish preferred

* Must have excellent time and project management skills.

* Proficient in computer skills to include Word and Excel

* Ability to multitask

* Work with cross functional teams and always be professional

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS and WORK ENVIRONMENT**

Facility is a manufacturing environment, and this position may primarily be outdoors. The manufacturing environment and working outdoors may include high levels of noise. When working outdoors conditions can include extreme cold, heat, or humidity; and sometimes can include work in dusty conditions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion. Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as designated by the company. Position requires standing, sitting, and walking on a regular basis for prolonged periods. Near vison-ability to see details at close range. Ability to continuously use trunk strength-abdominal and lower back to support repeated bodily movement.
