Summary of Duties
Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision. Interact professionally with other team members, customers, and suppliers. Maintain strict privileged, proprietary, guest, and employer confidentiality during and beyond the term of my employment. Adhere to all work rules, policies & procedures, and safety standards.
Position Purpose
To ensure safe, efficient, and courteous beverage services to guests.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
•Responsible to follow all alcohol sale and distribution policies, ordinances, and regulations.
•Become knowledgeable of all menu items.
•Maintain sufficient inventory of all bar supplies, and alcohol.
•Comply with ABLE Commission rules, and alcohol sale & distribution procedures.
•Assist to ensure sufficient inventory of all bar supplies and alcohol.
•Provide courteous and efficient guest services.
•Verify legal age (21) of guests ordering alcohol.
•Serve beer, wines, and other drinks as needed.
•Ensure the highest standards of guest satisfaction and safety.
•Monitor the behaviors and actions of guests consuming alcohol and observe for signs of intoxication.
•Comply with departmental policies and procedures when restricting alcohol sales to guests.
•Communicate all concerns and guest complaints to the Bar Manager.
•Become familiar with casino events and promotions in order to accurately inform guests.
•Accept payments and operate point of sale system to track orders and record sales.
•Secure all monies in a locked bank bag and be responsible for maintaining zero balance at the end of shift.
•Operate point of sale system to track orders and record sales.
•Ensure the bar area is clean and organized.
•Restock bar as needed and in the absence of the barback.
•Comply with tip reporting procedures and Title 31 requirements.
•Obtain and maintain a liquor license, gaming license, and food handler's permit.
•Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education/Qualifications
•Must be at least 21 years old.
•Requires prior bartending experience.
•Requires Oklahoma Liquor License.
•Requires Food Handler's Permit.
Licensing
•Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License
Work Requirements
Shift Hours: Fri - Sat 4 pm - 2 am / Tues - Wed 6 pm - 12 am
Requires problem solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively. Position involves prolonged walking, stooping, or bending, lifting, or carrying up to 50 pounds daily. Work is performed in a casino environment with varying levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and / or temperature.
