About This Role

As the Digital Designer, you are responsible for the creative execution of concepts and designs for a wide range of marketing materials, including email, social media, website, and more. You will work alongside your design and copy peers and will produce visually compelling concepts that are on brand, execute to the creative strategy, and ensure that projects are completed on established scheduled targets. You have a growth mindset, can operate in a fast-paced environment, and are comfortable navigating in the gray. Above all, you’re a problem solver who is highly motivated to see the impact and potential in given projects for the Ace brand overall.

What You’ll Do

  • Responsible for the concept and design of various omni-channel communications, from intake through to delivery

  • Collaborates with Creative Manager, Sr. Designers, peers, and partners to identify project needs, produce compelling concepts, and deliver finished product to support the brand objective

  • Demonstrates the ability to push ideas, innovate, evolve the brand, and make suggestions pertaining to the identification of critical elements and alternatives to implement the most appropriate solution

  • Manage your own workload, keep projects tasks on time and keeping Creative Manager and project managers up to date on project statuses

  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects. Adheres to all standards and SOPs, including processes, file naming conventions, artwork release methods, appropriate electronic filing of artwork on server, and working effectively in our project management system

  • Applies broad knowledge of workflows, digital asset management, problem solving, designing and quality control to handle assigned projects with minimal supervision

  • Works on projects that are moderately complex to high concept and non-routine but can also jump in to support peers and help move along production jobs

  • Stay abreast of the latest trends, cultural movements, and creative expressions in the digital market

Required Skills

  • Bachelor degree in discipline related to functional work OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience.

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.

  • In-house creative agency work with a knowledge of marketing best practices is preferred, but not mandatory.

  • Ability to solve moderate to more complex problems by analyzing variables and applying appropriate solutions learned through experience and proficiency in understanding the job.

  • Ability to provide creative concepts and understand a high-level of retail advertising.

  • Positive, motivated, collaborative team player.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying close attention to detail.

  • Requires good communication skills with ability to state messages in a clear manner by using language that is easy for others to understand.

  • Must be able to proactively listen to others to understand issues and situations. Must be able to comprehend and clearly articulate business needs.

  • Comfortable in fast-paced, high-pressure situations with quick, real-time problem-solving skills.

  • Must be very well versed on Macintosh platform (OSX) and industry standard applications: Figma, Illustrator and Photoshop; with a working knowledge of InDesign, Office applications: PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

  • Must have knowledge of prepress methods in order to produce printable artwork.
