Responsibilities

Class A Drivers Enjoy:

Earn up to $70,000 - $100,000

Starting Pay 27.80/Hour, 30.90 after 1 year

Paid Weekly

Earn Overtime After 8 Hours

Local routes (home daily)

Position Summary:

Responsible for the safe operation of company equipment and timely, courteous delivery of product to our customers.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

* Safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicle

* Use Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as?an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck

* Maneuver vehicle and equipment in congested areas with limited space and potential obstacles

* Unload and deliver products to our customer utilizing various methodologies that may include manual conveyors, carts, or pallets in multi-temperature environments

* Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and store personnel

* Complete delivery and pick up paperwork

* Pick up returned product as required

* Collect company assets to include payments, carts, pallets, etc.

* Complete pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle

* Complete company training and certifications as required

* Effectively communicate and maintain contact with shift supervisor, dispatch, and/or co-workers

* Other projects or duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

* Must be at least 21 years of age

* Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

* Must have at least 1 year Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military

* Must have and maintain an acceptable driving record in compliance with DOT requirements

* Must be able to lift products from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. on a regular basis

* Must be able to pass a post-offer background, DOT Physical and drug test

Preferred Skills and Experience:

* High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

* Customer service experience

* Experience with a handheld ordering device and working in a multi-temperature environment

* Stocking, product handling, local delivery, or unloading experience

* Foodservice distribution, grocery store, or beverage delivery experience
