Role Overview:
The Director of Finance will join our leadership team and provide a strong voice at the table as we grow
our business. The Director of Finance needs to be a financially savvy individual and a strong
entrepreneurial team player. Above all, they must have a strong drive to optimize profitability, and the
ability to shed light on opportunities to do this.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly lead all aspects of the finance function including, but not limited to, financial planning, reporting and analysis, pricing, cash forecasting/collections/disbursements, cost accounting, customer profitability reporting and trade finance
  • Lead all strategic planning for the organization such as the annual operating plan, long range planning and capital planning.
  • Lead all reporting for the business both internally and externally to the board and investors.
  • Actively manage working capital and liquidity through cash forecasting and working closely with leadership to align commitments with resources.
  • Own and perfect the financial model while bringing all areas of the company into the planning process.
  • Become an active business partner with other members of the leadership team, providing financial input to all major decisions.
  • Work closely with all areas of operations including production to drive better cost performance.
  • Support the sales function of the business by providing detailed reporting and insightful analysis.

Qualifications & Experience

  • CPA and / or MBA preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
  • Understanding of manufacturing process
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Skills
  • High level of proficiency in Excel and financial modelling
  • QuickBooks
  • Inventory accounting (Dear/CinCor7 or similar)
  • Excellent communication skills and able to explain financial concepts to non-finance team members
