Key Duties and Responsibilities:

· Supervise operational functions related to the safe and efficient operation of the park and assigned areas.

· Ensure 100% compliance with all standard operating procedures as they relate to Six Flags standardization and/or Federal or State guidelines.

· Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant aspects of the Ellis and Associates, Corporate Safety, and Health Compliance Programs.

· Responsible for enforcing all Six Flags America and Maryland state labor rules and laws, particularly noting those pertaining to minor labor times.

· Develop and administer departmental policies and procedures.

· Consistent review and monitoring of Guest Service Satisfaction (GSS), throughput, and operations/maintenance downtime.

· Oversee and assist with setup and winterization attractions and structures.

· Recruit and hire seasonal employees to ensure proper staffing levels.

· Oversee training programs of seasonal staff within the Aquatics and Rides departments.

· Meet with Park and Maintenance duty manager daily to ensure downtime codes are documented appropriately.

· Will function as Operations Duty Manager and Park Duty Manager as assigned.

· Support any special projects and events planned by Marketing, Sales, Revenue or other departments, such as press/media events, previews, promotions, commercial shoots, etc. as assigned.

· Monitor department team member voice survey scores and assist in the development of initiatives to address areas of needed improvement.

· Work with Manager to develop and track annual labor and operating budgets and business plans.

· Perform all other duties as assigned by Park leadership.

Position Salary Range: $48,000-52,000

Reporting Structure:

· Reports directly to the Operations Manager.

Minimum Requirements:

· Three years management and/or supervisory experience in theme park operations.

· Will be required to obtain and maintain an Ellis and Associates instructor license.

· Will be required to obtain and maintain CPO certification.

· Candidate should be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks.

· Possess and demonstrate a positive and professional image.

· Ability to stand, walk, crouch, bend, stoop, kneel and lift up to fifty pounds occasionally.

· Will be required to work various shifts as project and park needs dictate, including nights, weekends and holidays.

· Must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Must possess adequate correctable eyesight for near/far/depth perception.

· Ability and willingness to climb and tolerate heights and open spaces as in climbing tall ride lifts.

· Demonstrate strong leadership and motivational skills.

· Computer literacy with proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.

· Possess a valid driver’s license and a clear driving record.
