Specializing in survey design, acquisition, and advanced 2D/3D/4D processing of VSP and OBS surveys, we offer onsite microseismic monitoring and imaging using ultra-large borehole seismic 3C/4C arrays for data acquisition and processing with proprietary software. Our expertise extends to providing specialized monitoring solutions for Underground Gas Storage (UGS), gas and liquid pipelines, as well as Enhanced Geothermal Systems (EGS).

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior CNC programmer and machinist located in Los Angeles County, CA. The Senior CNC programmer and machinist will be responsible for programming, operating, and maintaining CNC mills, lathes, EDM machines, and advanced QC equipment. Collaborating closely with our engineering and production team, they will ensure the delivery of high-quality parts according to specifications. Responsibilities include programming and setting up machines, selecting materials, measuring and inspecting parts, troubleshooting and maintaining manufacturing equipment, and making adjustments as needed for proper functionality.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in programming and operating CNC mills, CNC lathes, and EDM machines is required.
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T, material selection, and metrology.
  • Expertise with CAM and CAD software, including SolidWorks and Gibbs Cam.
  • Experience with precision manufacturing techniques, including setting up and maintaining tolerances down to +/- 0.0005".
  • Technical degree or equivalent experience in Manufacturing, Research and Development, or a related field.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to carry out day-to-day responsibilities without oversight.
  • CMM programming experience is a plus.
  • Experience managing projects from concept to prototype to production is a plus.
  • Fabrication skills (welding, sheet metal forming, assembly) are a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
