- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments for patients
- Verify and update patient information in the dental practice management system (e.g., Dentrix ascend.)
- Assist patients with completing necessary forms and paperwork
- Collect and process payments from patients for dental services rendered
- Maintain and organize patient records, including medical history and insurance information
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Coordinate with dental hygienists and dentists to ensure smooth patient flow
- Manage the front desk area, including keeping it clean and organized
