Field Service Engineer / CNC Machine Repair

We are seeking customer focused professionals with a positive attitude and a passion for problem solving to join our superior service team!

As a representative of our company internally and externally, you will be part of our Service Team installing brand new machine tools and repairing and maintaining existing machines at our customers’ facilities throughout all six New England states.

You will also work in our facility customizing the latest, most advanced CNC machine tools on the market today prior to shipping out to customers.

Core Activities:

• You will be factory trained to work on the brands of machines we sell, and we will support you in keeping up to date with new machine products and service issue. With that, you will set up new machines and install options on new and other in-service equipment for our customers.
• Travel with a company vehicle to customer locations to maintain, trouble shoot issues, test, and keep customer’s equipment functioning properly.
• You will comply with customer safety requirements, maintain good customer relationships, and strive for customer satisfaction. You will also inform the customer of all work being performed.
• As needed, you will provide phone support and train customers to maintain and operate machinery.
• Help develop written procedures for installation of machine accessories, options, and field installed items.
• Assist other employees with service projects. Complete all reports and paperwork in an organized and timely manner.
• Assist with setup for trade shows and open house events.
• Maintain all work tools and equipment used during the service process while keeping the area tidy and safe.
• Maintain and care for assigned company vehicle, having good driving record, as required by our service guidelines.
• Maintain a professional manner and appearance as outlined in service guidelines.
