Material Handler - Data Center

Volt is immediately hiring for a Data Center Material Handler in Ashburn, VA. Our client is a fortune 100, multinational technology company, that designs, develops and sells consumer electronics, computer software, and online services and is considered one of the Big Four tech companies.

As a Material Handler you will:

* Ensure all packaging such as cardboard and warps are disposed of according to company policy

* Assisting in shipping, receiving, storage and distribution activities for the Data Center to include unboxing and boxing/crating of data center equipment

* Assisting in inventory control, cycle count programs, de-trashing and breaking down materials & keeping the facility clean and organized

* Assisting in removal of decommissioned assets from the data halls

* General dock and inventory duties as assigned

This is a full time, Monday - Friday 8am to 4:30 pm opportunity.

The ideal candidate:

* Must be comfortable with computers

* Able to lift inventory up to 50 lbs on a semi regular basis

* Able to stand and walk for most of your shift

* Able to work in a team and independently as needed

* Ability to pass pre-employment screenings

* Must have intermediate computer skills. Comfort in using them, and comfort with technology

* Must have a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation. Position will require you to drive between 2 sites. Less than half a mile a day

Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
