Sal range:
(2yr)- $26 /hr
(5 yr)- $31 /hr
(10yr) $34 /hr
SIGN ON : 15k 2 year commitment;
Relocation: case by case
Weekend Diff: $2 /hr; Nights Diff: $3.25 /hr
Shifts: Nights 7-7
Must have experience – 1 year ICU exp or have floated to ICU

Job Summary:
The ICU RN manages the nursing care of critically ill patients in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. The tasks and responsibilities include:

Qualifications
EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:
● Associate Degree, Diploma in Nursing, or BSN required

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
● Current State of Florida license for Registered Nurse or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire.
● BLS required
● ACLS required
● CCRN preferred

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED:
● Acute care experience required
● Critical Care Experience preferred
● Assesses plans and evaluates patient care needs.
● Carries out physician orders.
● Administers prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, and monitors vital signs.
● Provides respiratory and ventilator management and monitoring for patients.
● Serves as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
● Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
● Instructs and educates patients and families.
● Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
● Provides age and culturally appropriate care.
● Orients and mentors new staff members.
● Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
