Clinical Psychologist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Salem, Oregon

A large inpatient hospital is seeking a psychologist for ongoing locum tenens coverage. This healthcare facility is willing to cover all transportation and housing costs for the assignment. The hospital is willing to license for this position. Credentialing takes around 60 days to complete.

This is a full-time assignment. The Psychologist will work with interdisciplinary treatment teams to meet with assessment, behavioral intervention, and therapy needs of individuals with serious mental illness. Tasks will include consulting with other team members, providing individual and group therapy, completing suicide risk assessments, completing a structured short-term assessment of risk (the facility uses the Short Term Assessment of Risk and Treatability), developing behavioral interventions, and contributing to case conceptualization and treatment planning. The hospital is using myAvatar EHR for documentation.
