We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in automotive repair, their own tools, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality service. Additionally, candidates are required to either have a state inspection license or the ability to obtain one. As an Automotive Technician, you will play a key role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and engine-related issues in vehicles.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and diagnostic tests to identify problems and recommend appropriate repairs.
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and diagnose automotive issues accurately.
  • Perform brake, suspension, and steering system repairs and replacements as needed.
  • Complete automotive repairs in a timely manner while adhering to safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle repairs, parts used, and labor hours.
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers to explain repair recommendations and provide estimates.
  • Keep abreast of automotive technology advancements and attend training sessions as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1.5 years of verifiable experience as an Automotive Technician.
  • Own tools and equipment necessary for automotive repairs.
  • State inspection license, or ability to obtain one within a month of being hired.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship and safety.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
