HVAC Technician

We are looking for a experienced detail-oriented HVAC Technician to help us maintain and repair heating/cooling systems. The ideal candidate will be equipped with their own tools, have experience in providing repairs, cleaning air quality equipment, and performing maintenance procedures.

As a HVAC Technician your responsibilities include talking with customers about their HVAC needs, performing maintenance and installations as needed, ultimately, you will work with customers to ensure their HVAC units run smoothly at all times and perform necessary installations and repairs.

HVAC Technician responsibilities include:

• Prior experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting and correcting diverse HVAC service issues.
• Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time.
• Addressing mechanical and electrical issues with HVAC systems.
• Become involved in technical training.
• Ensuring adherence to the Occupational Health and Safety Act and appliance standards.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
• Understanding and reading wiring diagrams, cycles of refrigeration
• Understanding the meaning of different technical data, such as pressure and temperature
• Troubleshoot issues with a current system as they are identified
• Conduct performance tests with specialized tools and adjust system settings
• Travel to job sites, and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer.
• Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations.
• Categorize and Organize inventory to limit unnecessary losses to the company

• Well groomed, neat appearance
• Subject to extremes of temperature while working in mechanical rooms or outdoors.
• Lift up to 50 pounds; be able to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices); carry ladders; work from heights, work in small crawl spaces.
• Document all installed equipment upon arrival: make, model, serial number, type of refrigerant, necessary test measurements, and pictures
• Current Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Follow all company procedures and safety rules
• Maintain accurate time records and submit to payroll when required
• Work as part of our team to ensure customer satisfaction
