POSITION SUMMARY

The Chief Transformation Officer will be a strategic and forward-thinking Technology Transformation Leader to spearhead the company's shift from custom software development to integrating cloud-based SaaS solutions, utilizing a cutting-edge data platform for analytics. This leader must understand and embrace everything from the company's business model, processes, people, company culture, and most importantly, the company's strategy articulation to bridge its current and future state to help meet the technology needs of our Owner-Associations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Direct a comprehensive 5-year transformation plan.

2. Lead transition from custom development to industry-standard technologies and processes, including cloud-based SaaS and a modern data analytics platform.

3. Leverage extensive knowledge in the agriculture or financial sectors to address unique industry challenges and customize the transformation approach.

4. Foster strong bonds with key customers and Board members, ensuring they are engaged and informed about the transformation's direction and progress.

5. Collaborate with other members of senior leadership to establish a clear transformation roadmap, strategies, and goals, in line with the organization's overreaching vision.

6. Lead the evaluation and implementation of optimal cloud-based SaaS and data technologies, working with internal teams and external consultants.

7. Assemble and mentor a dedicated team, focusing on their professional advancement.

8. Lead change initiatives by creating a sense of urgency, building buy-in, and managing resistance.

9. Drive digitalization efforts, including automation, data analytics, and cloud adoption.

10. Identify emerging trends, disruptive technologies, and market shifts.

11. Anticipate and mitigate risks associated with transformation projects to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

OTHER FUNCTIONS

1. Manage the change process to ensure a seamless transition and mitigate operational disruptions.

2. Oversee the transformation's financials to ensure cost-efficiency and investment returns.

3. Performs other duties and assumes other responsibilities as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

- Education including a Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.

- 5+ years' experience in driving transformational change with clear business outcomes.

- Preferred previous experience in an executive leadership role.

- Knowledge of financial oversight and budgeting, familiarity with cloud-based SaaS and data platform technologies.

- Ability to function as a project management SME and drive best practice/infrastructure development.

- Strong communication and presentation skills.

- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale organizational transformations, with a precedence for backgrounds in agriculture or finance.

- Exceptional leadership and relationship management skills, capable of guiding customers and interacting with Board members.

- A strategic mindset with a proven history of deploying innovative tech solutions for business enhancements.

- Proven collaborative skills in a team-oriented environment.

- Moderate travel with overnight stays as required. The need for travel will depend upon projects.

- Regular attendance is required on this job, with the ability to work a full 8-hour day. Overtime as required to meet deadlines.
