This position will be located at our Prescott Valley Branch: 7111 Pav Way, Prescott Valley, AZ 86314


Our ideal candidate

This position will be a front-line branch representative who will handle resolving product or service-related problems by clarifying member's issue; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment and following up to ensure resolution. In addition, this position will act as branch lobby manager, thus answering members questions and providing information on all our available products and services. This position will be an independent thinker with strong decision-making skills and will excel in covering a broad range of activities including phone support, new account opening, and serving members through multiple branch and virtual channels.


A typical day might include the following

  • Eagerly engages with members welcoming them into the credit union and offers assistance.
  • Provides members with account balance, activity, and history upon members' request.
  • Performs transactions, check withdrawals, transfers, and account maintenance.
  • Assists with dividend verification, common inquiries, NSF checks, and statement copies.
  • Performs loan payments, term calculations, and loan payoff information.
  • Informs members of savings, checking, money market, share certificates, IRA, and club account features and benefits.
  • Provides documents as requested by members.
  • Performs required research to resolve escalated issues.
  • Assists members with explanations of transactions on accounts.
  • Setup access to online banking and telephone banking
  • Maintains knowledge of Credit Union's field of membership.
  • Develop an understanding of Credit Union philosophy, organization, bylaws, and operational procedures and comply with the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act, AML, OFAC and all other applicable State and Federal Financial Institution Regulations.
  • Assists members with deposit account rates, stop payment orders, check copies, overdraft line of credit advances, and Courtesy Pay.
  • Manages Time Trade appointment process.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED);
  • 1-2 years related experience within a financial institution and/or training.
  • Previous teller experience recommended.
  • Excellent verbal, written, mathematical, referral, problem-solving, negotiation, relationship building and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Credit Union products and services
  • Ability to listen and uncover member needs.
  • Solid technical skills (Word, Excel, and other job-related programs)
