Business Operations Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to lead our business operations for our start-up and ensure that we are delivering exceptional customer service. This is a critical role that requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for delivering results who is passionate about helping people and is open to growing with the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all day-to-day operations, including scheduling, routing, resource allocation, and customer service.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular assessments of operational processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Work closely with sales and marketing teams to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets.
• Manage a team of technicians and support staff, providing coaching and mentorship as needed.
• Maintain accurate financial and operational records, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure that all operations are conducted in compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Commercial Pesticide Applicator License valid in the State of Virginia.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related experience in the field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role in operations or management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members and customers.
• Ability to lead and manage a team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of the pest control industry and regulations is a plus.
