The Yard Support responsible for various functions including, but not limited to :

* Loading and unloading consumables, materials, tools and equipment going to and coming from various jobsites.

* Delivering consumables, materials, tools and equipment to and from jobsites in a safe and efficient manner, as needed.

* Documenting all items coming in and going out of the shop and yard. (i.e. consumables, tools, trench boxes, attachments, etc.)

* Inspecting all incoming tools and light equipment for damage or service needs

* Seasonal landscape duties including snow plowing and lawn maintenance

* Minor facility and small tool repairs

* Other duties as assigned

Aptitude/Abilities/Skills:

* H.S. Diploma or equivalent.

* Clean MVR

* D.O.T Health Card, or the ability to acquire one.

* Three years previous excavation construction material, tool & equipment related experience.

* Have strong organizational skills in order to handle the variety of tasks assigned and to be able to prioritize.

* The ability to develop positive working relationships with vendors.

* Must have good knowledge of the Virginia, Maryland and D.C. metro area to be able to plan and make deliveries efficiently.

* Efficient and safe operation of motor vehicles, front-end loader, variable reach fork lift, tow motor, skid steer, mini excavator, power washer and various types of small equipment.

* Occasional overtime may be necessary during peak times.

* Must be able to work flexible schedule at times.

Equipment Utilized:

* Delivery truck (pick up to F550 flatbed).

* Forklift, tow motor, loader, skid steer and mini excavator.
