SUMMARY: The Material Handler reports directly to the Shipping Supervisor with dotted line responsibilities to the Production Supervisor. Material Handlers are responsible for keeping products neatly packaged, wrapped/palletized and correct labeling. Ensure all products is wrapped and stored in warehouse according to the customer specification (B.O.M). Responsible for keeping warehouse clean, neat and orderly. In performing these responsibilities, employees are to work safely, efficiently, and cooperatively in a manner that demonstrates team member involvement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING.

* Will have good knowledge of proper packaging and labeling.

* Ensure all labeling and packaging are correct prior to placing in warehouse.

* Must keep work area clean and neat throughout the day.

* Keep Shipping Supervisor informed of any fork lift maintenance needed.

* Supply production area with needed raw materials.

* Responsible for placing product in designated rows neatly and evenly.

* Will assist in moving product into the print room when needed.

* Will communicate with Shipping/Production Supervisor daily.

* Will be familiar with Letica products and correct procedures such as; quantity per skid, number of layers per skid, correct skid.

* Knowledgeable in operating stretch wrap machine.

* Will know proper loading procedures and assist loaders when needed.

* Operates forklift daily.
