Bakery Mechanic - Full-time / Part-time

Our client, in Tappan, NY is seeking a Mechanic to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of related work experience, knowledge of installation, servicing and repair production equipment which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Bakery Mechanic 

Location: Tappan, NY

Pay Range: $24-36/hr

Shift: Monday-Saturday (5 Day work week) 3pm-1am

What’s the Job?

• Observe equipment's operation to troubleshoot and diagnose problems.
• Disassemble and assemble kettles, start machines and observe gauges and other instruments on machines, to ensure adherence to processing standards; clean and lubricate machines when necessary. 
• Check boiler and HVAC Systems to ensure that they are working correctly.
• Check lighting system throughout the plant, change light bulbs and perform necessary repairs.
• Check equipment components for repair or replacement, clean and lubricate equipment regularly.. 

 What's needed?

• High school diploma, Technical training or equivalent
• 3 years of related experience
• Knowledge of installation, servicing and repair of food production/bakery equipment. 
• Ability to read schematics and diagrams
