CNC Lathe Setup

Position Title: CNC Lathe Setup Technician

Reports To: CNC Manager

Department: CNC Machining

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Location: Plymouth, MI

Job Summary:

Patriot Manufacturing, LLC., (“Patriot”) is looking for a CNC Lathe Setup Technician to join our team. Patriot is an IS0 9001:2008 certified company that works on CNC machining services for the environmental, agricultural, and aerospace industries. The CNC Lathe Setup Technician will be responsible for performing initial setup of lathes. This position is “in-house,” requiring full-time hours (overtime is available) and includes healthcare and retirement benefits.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

· Performs initial setup of lathes.

· Setup, repair, and troubleshoot lathes as required.

· Change over machines as required per schedule.

· Works closely with the supervisors and operators to provide solutions to challenges.

· Read and review blueprints

Requirements:

· Minimum three (3) years applicable experience.

· Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors and operators.

· Able to read M and G code

· Strong understanding of feeds and speeds.

Compensation and Benefits:

· Compensation ranges between $24 to $30 per hour, depending on experience. Performance will be evaluated every 30 days for 120 days with the possibility of pay increases.
