Job Description
Labor Solutions is seeking a CNC Machinist/Programmer that will produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating computer numerical control (CNC) and manual machines and maintaining equipment and supplies.
Hours: 1st Shift Monday through Friday 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturdays: 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
2nd Shift Monday through Friday 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Key Information:
- Base pay will vary based on experience and is an hourly position leading to an annual salary range between $70 - $95K/yr.
- All candidates will train on our 1st shift for approximately 90 days and may transfer to the 2nd -shift upon completion of training.

Responsibilities:
- Create, load, edit, and store CNC programs in G and M code.
- Run test programs and/or test materials before the start of operations.
- Make edits or corrections to the CAD program, work shifts, or tool offsets on the machine controller to improve part quality or run time efficiency.
- Setup CNC Lathes and Mills and adjust a wide variety of machines to produce a diversified line of parts having close dimensional and work quality.
- Assemble, repair, and fabricate metal parts.
- Make use of in-house resources to maintain, check, and upgrade tools, fixtures, and gauges.
- Keep records and inventories on tools, fixtures, coolants, and other items to maintain efficient production.
- Assist in instructing and training assigned operators in methods, operating procedures, and inspection of their work.
Requirements:
- Must have previous Programming experience for 3/4/5 axis machines working with MasterCam, and a strong foundation of G&M Code.
- Ability to read/work from drawings, blueprints, setup and operation instructions, material specifications, and/or production orders.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1-3 years of previous experience in a Programming role utilizing Mastercam
