Bilingual Bookkeeper/ Accounting Assistant

We are currently seeking a bilingual bookkeeper to join our growing accounting firm. You will be responsible for handling bookkeeping to ensure accurate record keeping of various clients. If you are a self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills in both English and Spanish, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! Previous experience is highly preferred and we will provide any additional training as needed. Pay is based off experience.

Responsibilities:

• Complete other bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks such as reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and recording financial data.
• Check the accuracy of business transactions
• Collaborate with clients regarding their business activity and meet with them as necessary
• Answer phone calls, messages, and emails and/or provide assistance if necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to privacy policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields is highly preferred
• Proficiency in Quickbooks (strongly preferred)
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Fluent in both English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and colleagues.
