What You'll Do:

* Lead a team of analysts to understand business needs and recommended solutions

* Work with Commercial and Construction business stakeholders to identify goals and objectives, then analyze data and processes to determine areas of improvement

* Oversee the development of project plans and ensure that deliverables are completed on time and within budget

* Articulate complex information to Commercial and Construction business stakeholders and IT technical teams

* Ensure the business analysis team performs efficiently and consistently achieving increased productivity

* Coordinate with extended IT teams to develop functional and technical capabilities on various technology platforms

* Set goals and priorities for the business analysis team

* Manage schedules and capacity planning for the team of business analysts

* Manage IT demand intake to deliver new Commercial and Construction projects to improve the organization's workflow and performance

* Serve as the business leader to define, implement, and maintain customer experience solutions. This requires working with Sales, Customer Excellence Directors, Logistics, Accounts Receivable, Credit IS, and other divisions to identify and implement business execution improvements

* Lead and direct a team that supports the Vulcan sales organization

* Meet regularly with and positively influence internal groups, ensuring business system needs are captured, clearly understood, and evaluated for benefit and effort

* Lead the prioritization of requested projects and enhancements based on benefit, effort, and resources

* Establish a "Voice of the Customer" role to ensure all projects have a positive impact on the customer experience

* Present project status updates to appropriate levels of management (project teams, directors, management)

Skills You'll Need:

* Bachelor's Degree or above in computer science or related field

* 5+ years of IT work experience

* 2+ years of experience preparing business requirements and functional specification of documents

* Knowledge of ERPs and job costing systems (Oracle, Spectrum, Viewpoint, etc.)

* Excellent written and oral English skills

* Field Operations business process knowledge

* Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills

* Ability to develop and maintain quality relationships with all levels of employees

* Can work independently and with cross-functional teams in the organization

* Knowledge and experience partnering with both business stakeholders and IT professionals

* Positive, collaborative, and solution-oriented attitude

* Ability to travel as required for systems implementations

* Technical Expertise: Maintains cutting edge awareness of latest development in specific field by scanning multiple sources of information or data (e.g. periodicals, networks of contact)
