Overview:

Be a key player in creating a clean and inviting dining environment at Social House Kitchen, a casual American Kitchen and Tap house in Virginia. As a Busser, you will work in collaboration with the service team to ensure that tables are promptly cleared, cleaned, and prepared for the next guests. Your attention to detail and efficiency will contribute to the smooth flow of service, allowing our guests to enjoy a seamless dining experience. Responsibilities:

  • Clear and reset tables promptly after guests have finished their meals.
  • Efficiently handle dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Assist servers and bartenders in delivering food and beverages to tables when needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including floors, windows, and furniture.
  • Cooperate with the service team to ensure excellent guest experiences.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) preferred
  • Able to communicate effectively in the primary language of the work location (verbal and written)
  • Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends, and all holidays
  • Able to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day; able to climb flights of stairs
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • High energy and stamina. Able to work within a fast-paced, highly mobile environment
