D&E Department

The Development & Engineering (D&E) team drives the technology, innovation, and new development of data center infrastructure across Vantage's companywide portfolio. D&E evaluates new sites, drives cost and schedules in line with goals of the company and serves as domain guides across the entire project lifecycle from concept through commissioning. The team collaborates with Sales, Operations and management along the way. D&E also work hand in hand with the Construction team to come up with a vertically coordinated design and ensures new and existing standards and designs are implemented optimally. Our team can align long-term operational sustainability with value engineering and cost metrics to deliver products aligned with company goals unlike external resources. Position Overview

Vantage is looking for a high-reaching, diligent and hands-on Power Solutions Project Coordinator to drive the detailed management and reporting, and support the development of our global onsite power initiatives and projects.

Essential Job Functions

  • Develop schedules, budgets, and project updates.

  • Implement various tools that support the management and reporting of complex projects.

  • Lead project meetings for our global project design and delivery of onsite power solutions.

  • Handle vendors and their results.

Duties

  • Initiate and help to lead project meetings, vendor development and coordination.

  • Collaborate with various internal and external teams to drive forward rapid execution of onsite power solutions.

  • Work with engineering teams, construction teams, and onsite power solution vendors.

  • Coordinate with internal teams, including engineering, construction, development, and sales to relay and coordination on project updates and results.

  • Build project schedules, scopes of work, project budgets.

  • Develop & lead project updates, meeting minutes, and internal leadership updates.

  • Challenge vendors and internal teams to achieve the seemingly impossible by supporting the innovation of power delivery.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Business, Engineering, Project Management or related education or equivalent experience required

  • 3-8 years of experience in power generation, engineering, or data centers

  • Power generation and Data Center experience is strongly preferred, but not required

  • Skilled at leading meetings, results, reporting updates, and budgets

  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, design, construction, power generation

  • Proficient at project management, handling vendors

  • Strong experience with engineering, engineering documents and process

  • Travel required is expected to be less than 10% but may increase over time as the business evolves

Additional Details

  • Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado and California market data and may vary in other locations)

  • This position is eligible for company benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D, short and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program that includes company match, and many other additional voluntary benefits.

  • Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including your qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
