Job Description
This role manages the sales support and analytics to the Sales team reporting to the EVP of Sales and manages one direct report. It is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work in a startup environment, is excited about the consumer products industry, and wants to learn, grow and build experience in sales and analytics. This role is 5 days a week, with a minimum of 3 days a week in-person at our Georgetown office.
Responsibilities:
Develop and sustain business relationships with brokers and customers development teams
Coach, train and motivate Sales and Shipping Analyst as a direct report
Responsible for completing new item forms and account paperwork
Communicate changes to orders, pricing, shortages to brokers and vendors
Help sales team with preparing for presentations and follow ups
Manage sales, distribution and promotional forecasts
Weekly and monthly sales reporting
Create processes and reporting to improve efficiency
Own the office management
Lead the sales operations maintenance of key platforms: WERCS, 1WorldSync, IRI, Retail Link, Partners Online, etc
Qualifications
Skills
Experience leading a direct report
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and focus on detail accuracy
Strong Microsoft skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
CPG experience
Qualifications
College Degree
1-3 years sales experience
Will work onsite 3-5 days a week (Mon-Fri) in the Georgetown, DC office
