Our client, a Freight Forwarding and Logistics provider are looking to hire an experienced Freight Forwarding Sales Manager to join their team in the Washington, DC area.
Responsibilities:
Continuously seek new opportunities to sell international logistics and freight forwarding servicesto generate sales in the USA
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of business
Assist with presentations, proposals and pricing quotes
Regularly network and attend industry events to develop leads and convert into sales
Create strong working relationships with clients
Requirements:
Many years experienceselling international logistics & freight forwardingservices across the USA
Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
Proven track record bringing in new business with Defence, Government Agencies and Contactors preferred
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred
Some domestic and international travel may be required.
