JOIN OUR TEAM! We’re looking for sheet metal Deburr/Grinding Operators.

Job Summary:

• Experienced Deburr & Grind Operator will grind and deburr metal parts for custom builds

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ability to use hand tools
• Must have 1-2 years of experience in Deburr/Grinding.
• Requires removal of burrs & rough edges from a variety of sheet metal parts.
• Ability to operate power tools
• Read blueprints/drawings to determine specifications and dimensions.
• Ability to read Bills of materials for builds
• Requires repetitive use of hands sanding and polishing, grinding, and finishing
• Clean and maintain equipment and tools (replacing abrasive pads as needed)
• Promote a positive team environment by following all company and safety policies.
• At all times project a favorable image of the organization.
• Ability to stand continuously up to 8 hours per day
• Follow the organization’s grooming and dress standards.
• Keep the Department Lead promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
• Perform all duties and responsibilities asked of you in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
• Perform any other job duties as requested by the Department Lead or Management.
• Loads and unloads materials into or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
• Lifts heavy objects by hand or with appropriate lifting support
• Keep work areas and spaces clean.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision.

· Able to remain professional and courteous always.

· Ability to adapt and work in a very fast paced environment

Education and Experience:

· Sheet metal manufacturing experience

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to lift to up to 50 pounds.

Pay and Compensation:

Base Compensation: based on experience $18.00 - $24.00 an hour
