Job Summary:

The Finance - myQ Enterprise Lead will be the primary finance leader for Enterprise Services, an entrepreneurial business within Chamberlain's Commercial Business Unit. This role is responsible for providing financial guidance on key decision making, developing and maintaining complex models to project long-term P&L performance and investment returns, reviewing contracts for revenue recognition requirements, coordinating with Accounting, Legal, and Tax teams to ensure accurate reporting, leading the development of regular forecasts and annual budgets, preparing insights on business performance and variance analysis, managing and coordinating SG&A spend forecasts & budgets across multiple functional areas.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 5+ years of experience providing financial analysis and creating complex financial models in Excel

  • Building complex and well-controlled business case models using Excel

  • Deploying investment support decision-making metrics such as IRR, NPV, Etc.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Revenue Recognition and Contract Analysis

  • ERP systems and planning tools

  • Ability to travel up to 15% within North America

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's in Business Administration, CMA or CPA

  • Software as a Service (SaaS) products and businesses

  • Product or service costing

  • SAP and Business Intelligence

  • Microsoft Power BI

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Enterprise Leadership, Finance, and other Functional teams; work as the primary representative and point of contact between the Enterprise Business and the larger Finance Team

  • Develop and maintain sophisticated Excel-based models for short and long-term P&L forecasting and business development which will be used to guide strategic direction and business planning

  • Drive the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes for Enterprise, ensure budgets and forecasts are aligned with strategic direction, and ensure compliance to planning calendar timelines

  • Review customer contracts to assess reporting requirements and Contract Value; establish standards for calculating, reporting, and tracking Contract Value

  • Work with internal and external Accounting experts to support the development of revenue recognition policies and practices; ensure compliance with those policies in reporting, forecasting, and budgeting

  • Oversee and ensure accuracy of all financial results, analyses, and forecasts; drive compliance to policies and controls; facilitate purchase order management and cost center budgeting

  • Work with multiple departments across Finance and IT to support and coordinate development of support function policies and practices supporting the Enterprise business

  • Manage financial assessment and analysis of Enterprise strategic initiatives/objectives in partnership with GM; champion behaviors to achieve strategic initiatives, provide recommendations and counsel to the GM on the efficacy of new initiatives and opportunities as the business explores growth opportunities

  • Lead Cost Center Planning across direct and indirect spend areas, ensure SG&A forecasts/budgets align to strategic expectations, track and analyze variances as needed
