Salary Range: $41,600 - $66,560 per year

Shift: 1st Shift


As a Production Engineer Technician, you'll play a pivotal role in developing manufacturing lines for new products and enhancing existing lines to meet increased sales volumes. Here's a glimpse of what you'll be doing:

Essential Functions:

  • Assist in the design of new machining processes.
  • Evaluate and enhance line designs for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop SOPs, training materials, and pokayoke masters for new lines.
  • Train production, maintenance, and support teams on new and modified lines.
  • Ensure trial event parts meet supplier demand and quality standards.
  • Test competitor tools and optimize fixtures to improve tool life and part quality.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment and foster positive working relationships with production associates.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices and contribute to team efforts to achieve project goals.


Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Industrial or Process Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of engineering experience in a mass production, manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in data analysis, process flow analysis, reading drawings, and using quality control tools. Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, CNC, PLC, and Robot programming preferred.
  • Ability to work in a climate-controlled office and shop floor environment, perform physical tasks, and occasional travel.
