Job Title: Senior UI UX Strategist HCD Practitioner Duration: Fulltime Location: Herndon, VA (Hybrid) Join our dynamic team as a Senior UX Strategist, where your expertise as a seasoned HCD Practitioner and process flow UX designer will make a significant impact. We are seeking an individual with critical UI proficiency and the ability to articulate nuanced differences, someone who will play a pivotal role in shaping our user experience strategy. About the Role: As a Senior HCD / TX / UI UX Strategist, you will lead the development of user experience strategies aligned with our business objectives. Your role is crucial in conducting in-depth user research, defining and communicating design concepts, and collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities:Lead the development of user experience strategies aligned with business objectives. Conduct in-depth user research to gather insights and identify improvement opportunities. Define and communicate design concepts, user flows, and wireframes to cross-functional teams. Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to integrate design seamlessly into the development process. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices. Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve designs. Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the design team. Advocate for the importance of user experience within the organization. Required Skills:Bachelor's or master's degree in design, Human-Centered Design, or a related field. Proven experience as a UI/UX Strategist or in a similar senior role. Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects and a deep understanding of design principles. Proficiency with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience with user research methods and usability testing. Ability to think strategically and translate business goals into effective design solutions. Educational Qualification:5-7+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design or a related field with a Masters or 7-10+ years with a Masters in applicable study. Proven success in leading and delivering user-centric design projects. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about user interactions. A passion for staying at the forefront of design and technology trends.
