A Level Automotive Technician

**Position Summary**:

As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing customer vehicles, ensuring their safety and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive mechanics, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

**Job Responsibilities**:

• Efficiently communicate with Service Advisors to ensure a clear understanding of customer needs.
• Conduct maintenance and repair work on customer vehicles, adhering to Chris's Car Care's high standards of quality.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to accurately identify vehicle problems.
• Clearly explain automotive repairs and issues to customers, ensuring their understanding and satisfaction.
• Test-drive vehicles post-repair to verify their mechanical soundness and address any additional concerns.
• Accurately document all work performed and recommendations made on the repair order.
• Maintain punctuality and adhere to attendance and timekeeping standards.
• Keep the shop environment clean, organized, and safe at all times.

**Qualification Requirements**:

• Possession of own tools/equipment.
• Minimum of 6 years of in-shop technician experience.
• A level Automotive Technician.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and basic computer skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate with colleagues.
• Experience in servicing both foreign and domestic vehicles.
• ASE Certifications are strongly preferred.
