Job Description
Cottonwood Creek Wellness Center is a multi-specialty, interdisciplinary group practice in Colorado Springs. We provide a variety of services to the community including individual, couples and family therapy, psychiatric services, group counseling, psychological and psycho-educational assessments, supervision, educational workshops, consultation, and nutrition counseling.
We are looking for a full-time Psychiatric Provider to join our growing practice! Our ideal provider will provide high quality, compassionate, ethical, and culturally competent services to clients. Candidates should be independent, organized, driven, and collaborative.
This is an ON-SITE position with two locations in Colorado Springs, CO.
Candidates must be fully licensed in the State of Colorado with prescriptive authority and an active DEA license in Colorado. Credentialing with TRICARE is a plus! Compensation is visit-based and paid out bi-weekly.
Cottonwood Creek Wellness Center will provide:
Supportive work environment

Support with pharmacy requests, medication refills/concerns, prior authorization submissions, records requests, patient communication liaison and referral support.
Administrative assistance with credentialing, scheduling, billing, invoicing, coordination of benefits/eligibility and collection of payment
Meetings and administrative/charting time compensated at non-clinical rate
Preference for referrals for therapy services for your psychiatry clients
Mix of established, stable, client case-load and steady stream of new client intakes to build your caseload
Ability to guide your caseload to ensure you feel empowered to provide effective, timely and safe care
Innovative interdisciplinary ketamine assisted psychotherapy (KAP) service to support select clients with treatment resistant conditions
Comfortable office space
Requirements:
Current Board Certification
Colorado licensure and Prescriptive Authority
Active DEA License for Colorado
Must be able to provide holistic care across the lifespan
Experience with assessment, diagnosis, education and psychiatric/medication management of diverse psychiatric conditions is ideal
Timely and effective response to client concerns is a must
Detail-oriented with commitment to timely documentation and comfort with electronic health records
Able to provide therapeutic communication and develop good rapport with clients
Providing supportive therapy within training and scope of practice is welcomed
Strong interpersonal skills enabling effective communication and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team
