Control Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

Experis, a division of ManpowerGroup, is working with a global automotive manufacturing organization. Looking for a Controls Engineer for a Aluminum Foundry in Bedford, IN. This is a 6+Month Contract with possibility of extension.

Job Title: Controls Engineer
Location: Bedford, IN 47421
Pay: $40-$43 an hour + benefits
Contract: 6+ Month Contract, Potential to convert to perm./FTE
Schedule: 2nd Shift (3:00 pm to 11:30 pm) / 3rd Shift (11:00 pm to 7:30 am), Mandatory OT with Weekend Rotation, Every third Weekend (Sat/Sun)

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the production team of aluminum casting 
• Initiating control systems
• Oversight of die casting machines and ensuring up and running
• Coordinate with maintenance team, electrical staff, and production
• Work on cycle time improvements and quality improvements

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• PREFERS Electrical Engineering and/or Mechatronics Degree
• 2-3 years experience running PLCs and Programming Robots, adding new codes and/or debugging, integrating PLCs, using ethernet and/or VFD
