Qualifications

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The purpose of the housekeeping and laundry staff is to maintain the guest rooms and public areas of the facility in accordance to hotel standards while reflecting the high expectations of our guests and patrons.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure all guest rooms are cleaned to standard
  • Ensure that public areas are clean and well-maintained
  • Stock linens and supplies as needed in storage closets on every floor
  • Stock and properly store laundry carts after each shift
  • Notify management of any broken or missing FF&E items
  • Notify maintenance of any maintenance issues
  • Clean, organize, and maintain laundry and break room areas
  • Respond to any and all housekeeping requests by guests or through the work order program
  • Interact with and respond to guests questions or concerns
  • Weekends are required since these are the busiest times.
