Service Technician

Job Description: As a Service Technician, where you'll be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing food processing machines, playing a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our customers' equipment.

Position Details:

• Compensation: $18-30+ per hour. Based on Experience 
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM 

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair customer and inventory equipment, including mechanical, basic industrial electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Conduct repairs both in-house and at customer sites, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of issues.
• Procure required repair parts from inventory or approved vendors to complete repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of the machine and surrounding area during and after repairs.
• Write up work order summaries and obtain customer sign-off for completed repairs.
• Submit completed and signed work orders promptly for processing and billing by the office.

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical, basic industrial electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, or equivalent schooling.
• Consistent employment for one year within the last two years.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Proficiency in utilizing organizational systems to streamline tasks.
• Punctuality and a neat appearance.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.

Additional Requirements:

• Successful completion of a DOT physical and drug test.
• Clean driving record as you will be driving to client sites.
