Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cyber Data Exploitation Instructor to join our team in the Herndon, VA area. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develops and presents complex training programs for customers and in-house employees.

  • Coordinates with SMEs, and staff officers to identify program needs and schedule programs.

  • Assesses trainees to measure their learning progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training presentations.

  • Conducts training programs on complex topics and designs and develops training program elements/modules.

  • Provides guidance and direction to less experienced trainers utilizing strong technical and training skills.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a STEM field.; an additional four (4) years of full-time experience in a related scientific or technical discipline shall be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience with data visualization tools.

  • A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience in the following: (1) data exploitation and analysis; (2) conducting in-depth network analysis and supporting cyber operations, targeting; (3) demonstrating strong oral and written communication skills, incl. expressing facts and complex technical ideas clearly, concisely, and accurately to a diverse audience and (4) experience with SQL or other relational databases; demonstrated ability to using command line utilities and/or scripting capabilities, and ability to program in Python, Java, C, or C++.

  • A minimum of seven (7) years of demonstrated experience in computer networking, computer network security, technical analysis, data science, or computer network operations.

  • Requires an Adult Learning Certificate (ALC) from Association for Talent Development (ATD), or approved equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience with cryptographic keys and equipment.

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience conducting investigations of cyber-attack and computer security incidents.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of cyber security, computer network vulnerabilities, and computer network exploitation.

  • Demonstrated experience operating in TS/SCI and unclassified environments.


Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen

  • Possess an Active TS/SCI clearance


Physical Requirements:
The person in this position will be expected to work at customer site in a classified environment for certain aspects of the role. In addition, the person in this position will be expected to spend some of their time providing instruction at an offsite, UNCLASS location.
