Reports to: Fiberglass Manager

The Detailer's responsibility is to perform the duties below on a regular basis and meet customer satisfaction standards as well as company sales and safety requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assess the condition of gel coat/paint and recommend proper maintenance protocol
• Wash, buff, and wax deck and hull
• Apply bottom paint to sail and power boats
• Possess knowledge of proper operation of hand and hand-held air/electric tools and apply to work
• Follow all procedures pertaining to safety and personal protection equipment
• Ensure quality of work performed

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

• Act with the highest level of integrity and maintain a positive attitude
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• Ability to speak and read English to follow instructions on work orders as well as understand product and manual instructions
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job
• Must be able to complete assigned work in an efficient and timely manner
• Strong work ethic and personal commitment
• Ability to work in a team environment to achieve team, department, and company goals
• Ability to be a self-starter and work independently.
• Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work
