- Work as a supportive, cooperative member of the OR team at the highest level of the Surgical Technologist Licensure.
- Greet and interact with all visitors, clients, families, and co-workers with empathy and as a representative of Confluence Health.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPPA to the highest standards.
- Learn surgical procedures and subjects relating to operating room/ surgical patients.
- Follows appropriate procedure for obtaining, returning, cleaning, and disposing of surgical supplies and equipment to maintain a safe environment.
Position Requirements
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology OR 2 years of Surgical Technology experience in the OR.
- Current Washington State Surgical Technologist registration.
- National Certification by the Association of Surgical Technologists within one year of hire and recertification as needed.
- May consider LPN if trained in the scrubbing role – dependent upon experience and knowledge base.
- Certified in CPR and recertified annually.
- Required to take call as rotation requires after hours, weekends, and holidays.
