Senior Civil Engineer

Urban is seeking a Civil Engineer/Project Manager- Land Development - Site Design who has ~ 5 years of experience in the design and management of land development site plans for its Chantilly, VA office. Job Functions: Complete complex civil engineering design and project management duties as it relates to all facets of civil engineering land development site design Must be able to manage civil engineering land development designs from the planning, zoning, and permitting stages through the completion of full sets of site/construction plans Must make well-informed design decisions based on their knowledge of civil engineering concepts and locality requirements Ensure the quality of all work completed through QA/QC reviews of all project work produced Present projects to clients, local jurisdictions/governments, and the public at formal and informal meetings/events Daily coordination with internal and external engineers, architects, clients etc. Educational/Experience Requirements: Must have a B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited university P.E. certification is Preferred but not required.
