Hiring Event Security Officers in Macomb County

Hiring experienced and dependable Event Security Officers to work in the Clinton Twp or Sterling Heights area for part-time weekend evenings available. Must be reliable, dependable, and responsible.

Specific Duties and Essential Functions:

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Sound alarms or call the police or fire department in case of fire or the presence of unauthorized persons
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles
• Permit authorized persons to enter the property and monitor entrances and exits
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously and professionally.

Requirements:

• Candidate must stay alert during busy activity at the venue and must have a good sense of judgment during difficult situations
• A Background check will be required
• Must have a valid driver's license and your own reliable vehicle with auto insurance
• Requires the use of your own cell phone
• Must be able to stand for long periods and be able to list as much as 25 pounds as well as open/close heavy gates.

Education, Licenses, and Certifications Required:

• Possess high school diploma or equivalent
• Must possess a current and valid driver's license
• Type and length of specific experience required, for certain sites
• Meaningful and verifiable work history.

• Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
• Ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public

• Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to work in the United States legally

Job Types: Part-time

This unarmed position pays $15 and up, and rates for qualified and experienced armed security opportunities depend upon the level of responsibility and background/experience.
