About this role:

An experienced leader responsible for leading a team of software engineers and managers in developing, delivering and maintaining order to cash (OTC) applications. The role requires a deep understanding of AWS architecture and technologies, as well as, the ability to manage and motivate a team of engineers.

What you will do:

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand and execute the OTC program requirements.

  • Direct software engineering projects and staff in developing synchronous and asynchronous integrations between Zuora and other applications using Zuora and custom APIs.

  • Lead the architecture and design of scalable software applications and services in AWS.

  • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers in multiple time zones.

  • Relentlessly prioritize to ensure efforts are aligned to Gartner's strategic objectives

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

  • Mentor, coach and grow engineering talent.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor or master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in the field of software engineering preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in a management role.

  • Proven experience designing and leading the development of native cloud-based applications (AWS).

  • Strong experience with microservices, Python, Postgres DB.

  • Experience in cloud computing and Agile (SCRUM) methodologies.

  • Experience leading and motivating a team of software engineers.

  • Strong leadership style with a proven track record of hiring, leading and retaining high-caliber engineering talent.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in working with global teams.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 128,000 USD - 186,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates. We also offer market leading benefit programs including generous PTO, a 401k match up to $7,200 per year, the opportunity to purchase company stock at a discount, and more.
