Dietitian Nutritionist I - Full-time

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for an inpatient position at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, MA. This 240-bed community hospital provides essential medical care to residents in the greater Boston (Metro South) area. This is a great opportunity for both new and experienced clinicians with an interest in acute care.

Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the successful candidate will:

• provide direct patient care on inpatient units;
• support ongoing Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects; and
• provide training and education to department staff and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)  (Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, this must be a master’s degree)

 

 

Credentials Requirement:

• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
