About the Role

Parry Labs is seeking a high energy sales leader to help us create a new and exciting business area. We have created compelling technology, and your role will be to work with OEM's to incorporate our technology in their programs and products. You will work side by side with the existing Business Development organization and manage a small group of top tier Manufacturer's Representatives. This is a ground floor opportunity at an exciting and growing company.


Responsibilities

  • Work individually and as a manager to develop new business opportunities providing a foundation for continuous upward sales trends while meeting profitability objectives
  • Find, nurture, and win Design Wins for Parry Labs' Embedded Hardware Group
  • Work directly with other members of the BD team, program managers, engineers, and consultants to create and execute capture plans, customer engagement plans, and marketing strategies to promote and position Parry Labs embedded computing solutions in the marketplace.
  • Structure partnerships and teaming agreements to increase market opportunities and develop new value propositions.
  • Interface directly with the customer decision makers and closing sales.
  • Manage customer relationships and instill trust and confidence in Parry Labs as a solutions provider.
  • Conduct competitive assessments to identify threats, opportunities, strengths, and weaknesses.
  • Provide input on go-to-market strategies, price-to-win strategies, and perform analysis to increase customer demand signal and win rate.
  • Assist with proposal preparation and submission, and coordinate proposal efforts across the organization.
  • Setting and monitoring sales goals, objectives, and forecasts.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years sales experience and success in the defense aerospace market
  • 3+ years sales management experience in defense aerospace market
  • Portfolio of relevant relationships with buyers in the defense aerospace market
  • Sales training, preferably Solution Selling
  • Fluent in any CRM tool
  • Holding a SECRET clearance or ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or other relevant field
  • In-depth knowledge of embedded computing systems, defense markets, and customer requirements.
  • Personal and professional skills to successfully interface with a wide range of people including customers, project managers, functional department managers, and peers to address complex situations.
  • Written and verbal communication skills, with public speaking experience and experience engaging with senior-level management.
  • Customer-focused with high energy and sense of urgency to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Working knowledge of financial metrics to include understanding of profit margins, cost of goods sold, rough order of magnitude (ROM) estimate vs definitive price quote, profit and loss, etc.

  • Superior negotiating and closing skills.
