Stagnaro Distributing has an excellent opportunity for a Relief Sales Support Representative to get their foot into the Beer/Beverage Industry! We are seeking a team player who is competitive, diligent, detail oriented, and reliable to join our team today!

About Stagnaro: Stagnaro Distributing is a locally, family owned and operated full-service beverage distributor that continues to grow each year. We currently service 28 counties in Southwest Indiana, Northern Kentucky, and Southwest Ohio. Schedule an interview today!

About our Relief Sales Support Reps: Our relief sales support members prepare, carry, and utilize all necessary sales support tools. They work from a daily itinerary with a minimum of 2 sales objectives for each account. Each will survey the accounts for display, promotion, distribution (resets) and POS opportunities while maintaining product rotation and freshness. Our relief sales support reps serve as an entry into sales. They work to support our Sales Reps and do not have their own sales route.

Position Title: Relief Sales Support Representative (entry level)
Days: Monday – Friday (rare weekend shifts)
Hours: 1st Shift - Full Time

Salary: $40,000.00 per year

Requirements:

  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year in prior sales experience.
  • Experience in restaurants, bars, and/or beer industries is a plus.
  • Must have an active Driver's License and auto insurance with reliable transportation. Transportation needs to be clean and always organized.
  • Must maintain handheld unit and cellphone in working order.
  • Must be able to dress professionally in business casual attire.

Responsibilities:

  • Has working knowledge of the entire portfolio of brands that Stagnaro offers.
  • Has working knowledge of sales history for each account.
  • Meets or exceeds all sales volume, display, and distribution goals.
  • Adheres to working standards set forth by District and Sales Managers.
  • Develop and cultivate a positive relationship with each retailer.
  • Surveys the entire account for display, promotion, distribution, reset and point of sale opportunities.
  • Maintains the account with current point of sale.
  • Maintains product rotation and freshness in all assigned accounts.
  • Merchandises the account with current POS.
  • Ability to overcome objections from the retailer to execute the objectives identified for each account.
  • Ability to secure the commitment and close the sale all while maintaining and developing the relationship with the account.
  • Possesses strong, prompt follow up skills.
  • Stays organized to execute all sales objectives laid out by management.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment.

That opportunity to grow came in 2003 through the sale of Hamilton Distributing and the simultaneous purchase of Dennert Distributing of Northern Kentucky which tripled the company's size. For the next 6 years, the company made a series of acquisitions culminating with the purchase of Dennert Distributing of Cincinnati in February of 2009. The companies were then renamed Stagnaro Distributing and today we sell, market within a 28-county footprint throughout Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio.
