**Description**

Treating Truck Drivers are primarily responsible for providing chemical treatments of oil wells by safely operating a diesel, multi-geared bobtail truck/pup and/or tractor- trailer combination vehicle over heavily congested city highways, rolling and mountainous terrain, rural and oil lease roads. Responsible for the preventative maintenance of any type of vehicle used to deliver chemicals to customers, plants and/or warehouse locations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Works with ethics, honesty, values and integrity. Provides a position of professionalism to others.

Maintains all required log books, DVIR and all other DOT requirements on a daily basis.

Keeps up with hours of service (HOS) to ensure compliance with all applicable laws.

Completes work tickets for jobs legibly, timely and with full detailed description of daily activity.

Performs complete pre/post trip inspections.

Chemical treating of all scheduled wells and locations on a regular basis.

Maintain chemical inventory reports.

Present a professional manner and work closely with sales people to satisfy customer requirements.

Maintain regular communication with sales and supervisor in order to report field problems and/or safety hazards.

Maintain truck and equipment in a safe and operable condition at all times by performing daily and periodic mechanical and safety inspections.

Maintain drivers hours of service by using Telogis and/or paper log book reporting.

Keeps current on safety techniques and take advantage of all opportunities to improve driving and safety skills.

Recognize and avoid safety hazards in the work environment.

Properly load trucks, prepare daily bills of lading, schedule the order of daily treatments and submit treating reports to sales.

Must have a valid CDL Class A Drivers license with specific endorsements. HazMat Endorsements required.

Must be at least 21 years of age and able to maintain insurability with Company insurance.

Must have at least one (1) year of previous driving experience.

Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, clients and management.

Requires a strong sense of direction and knowledge of surrounding areas.

All other shop duties besides trucks/trailers in our fleet will be specific to each branch location.

Must be able to work alone or lead a team as necessary.

**Preferred**

High School or GED equivalent some college preferred.

Winch knowledge and repair on rig up truck is a plus.
