Position Overview

This is a hybrid Driver/Yard Associate role. As a part of our dedicated team, our Drivers are responsible for operating SiteOne vehicles to deliver world class service and products to our customers. Drivers are responsible for loading and unloading trucks, in addition to working with teammates to ensure the branch is operating successfully.

What you'll do:

• Demonstrate exceptional customer service to all SiteOne customers
• Load and unload products for deliveries (either by hand or by using equipment such as a forklift or front end loader)
• Make deliveries and ensure product arrives undamaged
• Operate vehicle in accordance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations
• Perform job duties within our safety guidelines. Job duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Lifting and managing heavy objects
  • Working in all weather conditions (drivers must be prepared to work in hot and cold temperatures).
• Maintain and protect all property entrusted to you
• Partner with branch leadership to understand and implement new technologies and ways of working to help positively impact business performance
• Assist with pulling orders, merchandising product, managing inventory, maintaining the cleanliness of the store and yard, and other general duties while not driving.

Skills We Are Seeking

• Valid state driver's license required
• Delivery experience preferred
• Must be willing to perform deliveries to customer jobsites and transfers to other branches, in addition to working in the yard to load and unload product and assisting customers
• Must be comfortable performing regular bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head
• Forklift and/or front end loader experience is a plus!
• Bilingual Proficiency - candidates who are conversational in English/Spanish are preferred.
• Must be ready and willing to learn and adopt new technologies and ways of working
• Knowledge of landscape, hardscape, and irrigation products is a plus!
• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
