The JSSS is a USA based position, primarily with the candidate hired to reside in Virginia or within a 200-300 mile radius to CBMF USA’s headquarters located in Toano, Virginia.  This is a remote role but will need to be available to report on-site to the Toano to collaborate with centralized support functions at headquarters in Toano, VA once a week and/or as needed.

The JSSS reports to the VP of Sales, Costa Brava Mediterranean Foods.

Position Overview:

As a Junior Sales Support Specialist, JSSS will play a pivotal role in supporting the VP of Sales in developing new business across multiple channels. Additionally, JSSS will provide crucial assistance to brokers, addressing their marketing needs and ensuring seamless coordination between them, external graphic designers and the central marketing team at headquarters. This position will be an opportunity, for the candidate, to gain valuable experience in sales, marketing, and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Support:

-          Assist the VP of Sales in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across various channels.

-          Conduct market research to identify potential clients and market trends.

-          Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and other materials as needed.

-          Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for targeting specific market segments. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.

2. Broker Support:

-          Serve as a point of contact for brokers, addressing their inquiries and providing necessary support. Coordinate with brokers to understand their marketing needs.

-          Coordinate with graphic designers the development of marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, and presentations.

-          Assist brokers in implementing marketing campaigns and promotions effectively.

3. Marketing Coordination:

-          Act as a liaison between brokers and the central marketing team at headquarters.

-          Ensure timely communication and alignment between all parties involved in marketing initiatives.

-          Assist in coordinating marketing events, trade shows, and other promotional activities.

-          Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

-          Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

-          Previous experience in sales, marketing, or customer service is preferred.

-          Strong communication and interpersonal skills.  English required;  Spanish a plus.

-          Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

-          Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

-          Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

-          Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
